Zagster Brings Bike Sharing to the Historic City of Huntingburg, Indiana

We are at it again! Zagster launched another public bike sharing program this week in the City of Huntingburg, Indiana. With eight bikes located in Huntingburg City Park, getting around historic Huntingburg, exploring its shops and nearby bike trails has never been easier.

Huntingburg is a charming community known for its historic downtown district and 4th Street that includes a number of quaint specialty shops and unique dining establishments. There are a variety of community events that take place throughout the year, making Huntingburg an ideal weekend destination.

"The City of Huntingburg has so much to offer our residents and visitors, and experiencing it all on a comfortable bike adds a new level,” said Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner. “Our investment in the Zagster program is yet another way we're showing that we are, 'A City Like No Other!'”

The bike sharing program was presented to the Huntingburg Park Board last fall as a capstone project through the Dubois County Leadership Academy. Members of the team included Chris James, Ferdinand Town Manager; Melanie Jones, Kimball International; Debbie Ramirez, Vincennes University Jasper Campus; and Sara Thompson, Vincennes University Jasper Campus.
